eSafety Check
An inspection (pink slips) report that verifies your vehicle is safe.
Green Slip (CTP)
All vehicles except trailers and caravans must have CTP insurance (also know as a green slip).
Trailers & Caravans
Trailers / Caravans with a TARE weight over 250kg or that have brakes need a yearly rego check inspection.
Blue Slip (E-AUVIS)
A vehicle identity check inspection that will precisely identify any vehicle.
Vehicles with LPG
A report will be issued upon satisfactory inspection of the vehcile and its LPG system

Most light vehicles more than 5 years old need a yearly safety inspection report (also known as a pink slip). Only an Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) station like Randwick Car Care can do a safety check.
The reasons why annual registration inspections exist is to assess a vehicle’s roadworthiness which in turn affects passenger safety. Once your vehicle passes the safety check, your inspection details (Pink Slip) are sent to RMS electronically and you are then able to pay for your vehicle’s registration either online or at a Services NSW office.
If your vehicle fails a safety check, you need to make the repairs before you can renew registration. If you complete the repairs within 14 days and take the vehicle to be reassessed at the same AIS station at no extra cost. Once the repairs have been made and your vehicle passes the safety check, you can renew your registration online.
